Multi fuel Ground Car or truck

I was reading today about the predictions of 150 to 200 dollar a barrel for oil. That would basically make $4 a gallon $8 a gallon for gas. so I was thinking in my mind of a design for the world we now live in.

I decided that a multi-fuel car with solar panels built into the hood, roof and trunk(in otherwords all sun facing surfaces would be a start. Second, it would have to be multifuel, gas, propane, wind generators at home, electric motors on each of the two front wheels, lead shielding to prevent cancer or leucemia from long term exposure to large electrical coronas during the generation and release of electrical current between the driver passenger compartments and the engine and generators(alternators).

So:
1. gasoline engine with multi-fuel injection or carburetion
2. propane storage tanks
3. shielded electrical motors (one on each front wheel or four one on each wheel)all
lead shielded from driver and passengers compartment
3. Plug in capacity so the batteries could be recharged at home for pennies and drive
200 to 500 miles on a single charge of a few hours
4. Solar panels at home and on all outward surfaces of vehicle so batteries are
charging whenever the sun is out.
5. Fans inset into roof so on windy days they can be set up to capture wind power
while driving into a headwind or when parked facing into a high wind
6. Distilled water tank for onboard breakdown and injection of hydrogen and oxygen
into engine for combustion and generation of electricity.
7. For those who prefer not to be electrocuted in the rain or in a vehicle accident
there could be non electrical vehicles that were simply multi-fuel i.e. gas,
water and ethanol etc.

Note: THE IDEAL FUEL WOULD BE THE SAME AS THE SUN, HYDROGEN FUSION. A FIST SIZED OR SMALLER FUSION REACTION ONGOING WOULD BE THE BEST LONG TERM FUEL FOR VEHICLES ONCE THE TECHNOLOGY IS MASTERED. UNTIL THEN THE ABOVE WILL HAVE TO DO FOR GROUND TRANSPORTATION.

For ships with steam engines salt water can be used to heat those boilers by sending a certain frequency of radio waves through them so saltwater can then be burnt. However, even water on earth could eventually run out from burning up the hydrogen and oxygen and after all we do have to breathe oxygen and drink water to live as humans here on
earth or wherever we go.

So, as soon as possible fusion, wind and solar seem the best long term power sources and since solar and wind are here we can use them now.

As oil reaches 200 dollars a barrel I think you will see land in windy areas where there is still water and food available rise dramatically in value since wind generates the most power the quickest if you are comparing solar and wind.

Where my son lives they get 30% of their power from wind generated electricity.

Agreed,

There is no one solution to pollution to date, so a combination of several alternative energy sources is the answer until one surfaces as superior.

Certainly, solar is the main technology which should be used with all energy systems. We are using solar to power hydrogen system, and we are close to eliminating fuel all together, so it is just a matter of time. I have seen more advances in alternative energy in last year than in the last ten years, so we are getting close to ending foreign oil dependency. It all comes down to funding these advancements.
