On Being Multidimensional

I see the capacity to be multidimensional as a human being as being the primary means of adaptation and survival as a human being on earth.

For me, personally, this means constantly fostering a love of knowledge and truth, of understanding multiple points of view on an international basis, of understanding multiple points of view on a religious level, spiritual level, and even a language level, of being able to communicate on multiple levels and even to have multiple points of view on any given subject, and to have ones opinions be constantly changing according to the best information at any given moment in space and time.

Only by being this way does one enable themselves to better not only survive but to prosper as an individual on earth.

The more one dimensional any human or other being becomes the less chance for survival one incorporates into their own process or processes.

For ones survival and prospering on all levels directly relates to the understanding any being has of not only his or her surrounding world but also his or her internal world.

For example, as a boy I watched how counterproductive it was for women to be ridiculed for being women and I saw first hand how women punished men for being ridiculed for being women. One of the first changes that my generation was a part of was that we tried to break the double standard of men that had wives but also lied to their wives about having mistresses and lovers as well. We saw in our mothers that these lies only made women crazy and shortened their lives and also shortened the lives of the men who lied by destroying the trust in their relationships with their wives and children.

So, women's liberation also became men's liberation as well as well as the liberation of many groups and minorities worldwide. Though this may take centuries to work itself out the more honesty that can be a part of relationships and families the better families, and societies will tend to operate for the better of all beings.

Though this effort to break the lie cycle between husbands wives and children broke down the concept of marriage between 1960 and the present it also created trial marriages(living together) and helped to create better ways of real communication between all members of families worldwide. With more trust and less lying in families more people stayed physically and psychologically healthy as a result and in this way society worldwide has been strengthened. This has also contributed to the developing of the quality of multidimensionality especially by the higher percentage of people who go forward and get Bachelor's degrees, Master's Degrees, Phds and all the people worldwide who see the value of being educated throughout their lives and not just stopping with grade school, junior high, or high school. This has totally changed the way both people individually and society operate in general worldwide.
