Finding Enlightenment

In each successive generation enlightenment is first found only by the brightest, most inquisitive, bravest and biggest hearted ones initially.  Then they begin to share their enlightenment with all the others of their generation and then their children and their grandchildren and beyond. This has happened in every generation of mankind always.

Enlightenment comes from being brave enough not only to ask hard questions but to have the capacity to cope with the answers you then find. Sometimes those answers will explode both your mind and your life. So, one must always be brave enough to live the new truths found even if everyone around you rejects your ideas. Because if something is true eventually everyone will see it and agree with you. So, then the paradox of "Truth kills and Truth Saves" must be faced. (I told you you have to be brave). The truth kills old truths that have become obsolete and less useful. This is hard especially for older people to have their accepted truths smashed to pieces by the young and sometimes intellectual or even physical violence ensues. But "Truth will Prevail" no matter how suppressed it becomes from the status quo. Sooner or later that status quo will collapse upon itself if it is at core a lie. Truth will prevail ultimately. This is a given.

For example, we are seeing people dying all over the middle east for the truth of human rights, human jobs, and a way to survive with dignity. We are seeing children tortured to death and whenever we see something as heinous as that we see governments that will now fall in the present consciousness movement here on earth. Likely there is now no way at all for the governments of Syria or Libya to prevail on the world stage because the truth is everywhere and it cannot be hidden anymore whether those truths are in Syria or Libya, or Egypt or even in China. The truth will now prevail and any sensible person can see this.

So, at present at least, one of the tools of mass truth and enlightenment is the social media and organizing power of the internet. It likely won't always be this way because it is possible that governments may also learn to use this same technology against their people in multiple ways. This is one of the ways of wisdom in realizing that tools for good often can also be tools for evil. That a sword of truth can also be a sword of repression depending upon the motivation of those using the sword.

However, there is another truth even more powerful than a physical sword and that is: "The pen is mightier than the sword". And so as long as anyone can write anywhere the truth will prevail. So keep writing so truth can prevail everywhere on earth and beyond.
