Dorje Drollo- One of the manifestations of Padmasambhava

Dorje Drolo
The Manifestation of Crazy Wisdom, thangka painting. Conceived as an ecstatic manifestation of Padmasambhava, the deity Dorje Drolo embodies the forces of insight and compassion beyond logic and convention. Invoking in the practitioner the fearlessness and spontaneity of the awakened state, Dorje Drolo transforms hesitancy and clinging into enlightened activity. He rides a pregnant tigress, which signifies the latent power of our intrinsic Buddha Nature. Drolo's energy overcomes distinctions of life and death, representing instead a continual process of giving birth to new circumstances and possibilities. Padmasambhava manifested as Dorje Drolo at numerous pilgrimage places in order to subvert indigenous Tibetan beliefs in demons and malevolent gods, redirecting their powerful energies toward the path of wisdom and compassion

end quote.
I really relate well with Dorje Drollo and was given this initiation along with my wife and children by a very powerful Lama visiting from his lamasary in deep Tibet across from UC Berkeley in a church there in 1983. He also ave us Hayagriva which is "The horse headed Buddha who manifests to the Mongolians" My wife seemed particularly taken with both initiations. We felt very privileged because this initiation was a very rare one for such a high lama to give to anyone in the United States at that time. This particular lama was powerful in a way that I had never experienced before in this lifetime. I think he was a Nyingmapa Lama.  Since I tend to manifest as Crazy Wisdom a lot in my life "The Wisdom beyond all logic" I tend to be spontaneous in the way in which I help beings out of their suffering. If I feel I have even a 50% chance of helping someone's life to be better and to moving them towards the permanent end of suffering then I do whatever I can through prayer or sometimes in writing for them or speaking to them or whatever is necessary to help all beings be free from suffering and in helping them become fully enlightened. Also, this is the form in which Padmasambhava manifested in in Rewalsar, India when he was there with Mandarava, the Princess, who was one of his students.
His fame became known to Trisong Detsen, the 38th king of the Yarlung dynasty, and the first Emperor of Tibet (742–797), so we know that Padmasambhava was alive during this time. Also, it is possible that Padmasambhava was also Merlin who also helped King Arthur of the knights of the round table  become King in England around the same time and era. Since Padmasambhava in the form of Dorje Drollo was capable of levitation and flight he demonstrated it at Rewalsar, Himachal Pradesh, India and made it a permanently sacred place by so doing.
