What if You Were God?

Or even more specifically, what if all responsible adults and adult acting children were God here on Earth and that this is how God actually manifests here on earth through everything living. What if it is each of our responsibilities to design a world that actually works for all of us or at the very least as many as possible?

If I think in this way I begin to think both as a father and as an engineer in designing my backyard (Earth) so my children will be safe playing there. How can I help them survive and be happy and continue to live here in peace? How many people is too many for the planet(backyard) to support? Do I need to start family planning in order to avoid serious conflicts of individuals and resources? What should I do?

I think it is important for anyone capable of at least trying to think in this way because this may actually be the way things really are. Each of us may be an emissary of God here on earth and we may be expected to take good care of it. How are each of us going to do that?

So, when I look at Earth in this way I begin to see Global Climate Change as a natural consequence of too many people and too much technology run in a wasteful manner. However, I also, if I look at Earth in this way can also see that if people only lived underground and stopped living on the surface of Earth that maybe 13 to 15 billion people might be able to live on earth because none of the earth then would be covered by buildings and literally all of the surface of earth could be used for either recreation or growing food or both. However, the mass will of the 7 billion is not there yet. So until that happens many likely will die in various ways caused by increasingly bad weather worldwide. The Earth itself has balancing mechanisms in place just like a human body does. When things get too out of balance those systems will either make things in balance or the whole system will end, one of the two. I think looking at the universe and Earth in specifically in this way is a wise one.

Note: From everything I have studied over the years since about the 1970s it appears to me that building a cement house above ground or into a hill or cliff seems to be the best idea all around the world. In this way if water tables change you are not left flooded underground somewhere with every thing all moldy and stuff. But if you build above ground on say 2 1/2 acres of land and then push dirt up on top of your home with a bulldozer(assuming you build your home strong enough for that), then you don't have to worry about water tables and flooding if you design your home properly above ground and yet a lawn or roses or garden or even an organic garden can be planted on your roof to help feed you. However, I wouldn't plant fruit trees or anything with strong root systems that could find cracks in the cement and cause leaks in your roof.  But having at least one side of your underground house mostly glass if it faces into the sun would be nice as it would help heating the house especially during winters. However, if you have enough dirt on your roof and three sides, the house will tend to stay about 60 degrees or more without doing much of anything year around if you have double window (thermapane) in all your windows on your exposed side of the home.

Also, here is a site called Underground homes that I found interesting: Home
