resources for remote California students without Buses

Khan Academy

The above is a great resource for people wanting to learn math for free online as well as physics(my personal favorite), computer science and chemistry as well as many useful things at a pre-college or even at a college level in some cases. This is a very well presented curriculum which is always both interesting and fun to learn from.

end quotes

Obviously, if there literally are no more school buses running in California, many students will not be able to attend school at all. For those of them who have access to an internet for "Khan Academy" or mail for "independent studies" from Kindergarten through High School, there might be a useful solution to continue your education without a school bus or anyone to drive you to a school. I have always believed that if someone gives you lemons just make lemonade or lemon pie. "There are no problems only opportunities" If you think this way you always find a way forward. And in this case there is no reason not to continue your education in new ways. And, you might find you like this new way even better than the old.
