6000 villagers still cut off by Snow in Romania

Romanian rescue teams have been struggling to evacuate people whose homes have been smothered by heavy snow.
A big freeze continues to grip eastern and central Europe. Seventy-four people have died in Romania since the start of the cold snap. Samreen Naz reports.

If 6000 villagers just in Romania are still cut off from the outside world by snow covered roads you can imagine what people will find when they finally can get there. Only snowshoes and helicopters and cross country skis likely have made it into those places so far.
