Heat maps around 10 am pacific time of US

As you can see from this temperature weather map at about 10 am Pacific Time the only relief from the heat in the west and south is along Pacific Coast of the nation. The Ocean modifies temperatures because the ocean stays close to the same temperature within about 10 or 15 degrees year around. So, this makes the Western Coast cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter which is why a lot of people choose the west coast of the U.S. to live. I live on the Northern California Coast within 1 mile of the ocean so it stays mild year around where I live. Temperatures never go above 90 even for a day and seldom go down to freezing in the winter. The biggest problem is once in a while we will get 100 mile per hour winds off the ocean which brings down trees and closes roads. Also, fires might be a problem some year too because of the forests. Earthquakes seem to not happen that big (over 5.0) since the Loma Prieta Earthquake in 1989 at least. So, we'll see what comes next here on earth.
