Proof of Life After Death

My daughter's boyfriend is reading the book by the Neurosurgeon called "Proof of Heaven". In case you want to read the book at the word button below I don't want to give away the story. But needless to say this man didn't believe even thoughts were anything but biochemical reactions(until he had a near death experience) and realized that everything he thought he knew as a doctor and as a scientist wasn't all of it, it was only a part of it.

A SCIENTIST'S CASE FOR THE AFTERLIFE Thousands of people have had ... the Afterlife and over one million other books are available for Amazon Kindle.

The story reminds me a little of how my uncle came to me and had me start automatic writing to save me from suicide. He died? in 1942 and I was born in 1948. So, my first experiences automatic writing from what he was telling me was in 1969 when I decided I wanted to die. However, my uncle, a friend of my mother's from church who was a clairvoyant like me, my best friend's mother, my parents, my best friend and many girlfriends and other people I met along the way helped me stay alive. Later, in 1985 when my father was about to die I was working at a fire lookout in California all alone about 10 miles from the nearest human being in August and my Uncle Tommy came to me again and I said to him, "Tommy! I haven't seen you in years! What's going on? Then somehow I knew he was coming to get my father who was dying of bone cancer. So, I called up my Dad on the phone and said to him, "Dad. Your Brother Tommy is coming for you! Look for him!" My Dad said, "Freddie. I don't feel very well. I can't talk right now. 5 hours later my mother called to tell me my father had passed away in the ambulance. I knew his Brother Tommy had come and gotten him. It gave me great peace that his brother came for him when he passed on as they were very close and had gone to the Tahiti Archipeligo together on a yacht with my Dad's first wife in 1939 and had stayed in the Tahiti area and the Hawaiian Area and came home I think in late 1941 to Seattle. But, Tommy Coming that time to tell me he was coming for my Dad gave my mother and I great peace about Dad's whereabouts after he passed on.

Later at my Dad's memorial I had to become the minister because my mother lost it. (Mom and Dad had been in charge of a church from the time I was 6 to 12 years of age in Los Angeles). So, I had been trained to become a minister too by my parents during this time. I had wanted to witness my father's cremation as he had wanted and so I witnessed his body before I pushed it into the crematorium to be burned into ashes. His steel blue eyes were flat from being frozen and from the refrigeration so I found it hard to witness that it was my father before he was cremated but I felt I owed it to him to honor his wishes.

Another proof not of life after death but of how a soul exists outside of a human body I had around 1970 for the first time when I woke up and sat up out of my body on my bed and looked back at my body. But because we were still joined at the hips down to my feet I was okay with this experience. Next, another me (the 3 of us had the same pajamas on) walked into the room with an angelic look in it's eyes and laid down into me and then we laid down into my physical body. I knew God had given me this experience so I was very grateful and happy. This is when I started to become a conscious soul traveler after this profound paradigm shift in awareness.

I had learned scientifically that souls exist separate from bodies. It was no longer theoretical it was actual. So, God had granted me my prayer since I was a little child to become a soul Traveler like the angels just like Archangel Michael who had come and saved my life from whooping cough when I was 2. As God helped me I wanted to be able to help others too.

Syria's Next Crisis May Be Starvation

A five-minute delay on the walk over was just enough time for Um Abed, a 38-year-old widow, to lose her usual spot in her town's long milk line. Everyone here is desperate for milk from the town's only living cow. They try to arrive early, hoping she does not run dry before they get their share. On this day, Um Abed went home empty-handed.
Her youngest are twins, and now she must concoct something to ward off malnutrition, from which they already suffer. Ahmad and Mohammad were born in September 2012, at the outset of the regime siege on Ehsim, located in the mountainous area of Jabal al-Zawiyeh in this northwest province.
She has seven children to feed at home. An eighth, her 17-year-old son, was detained a year ago by the regime. Rahaf, her 15-year-old, suffers from seizures that doctors have been unable to treat.
To make ends meet, Um Abed, whose husband was executed publicly by the regime last year, works as a cleaning lady.
"We get by with the vegetables we grow. I watch people gather every morning to buy milk, and those who get it feel like they've hit the jackpot," she said. Some days, the family has only one meal. Constant shelling often contaminates their food.
Dr. Abu Hassan works in the free field hospital located in Jabal al-Zawiya and is Mohammad and Ahmad's physician.
"Until now, we haven't had a death related to malnutrition, but many children suffer from reduced immunity, especially newborns," he said. "We try to treat them with medication, vitamins and serums. Every week, we have over 10 cases of children suffering from malnutrition, and at least one is in a critical condition."
In the town of Maliha, in rural Damascus province, death has become commonplace since the siege on eastern Ghouta by regime forces began in September.
The first recorded case of child mortality due to malnutrition here was earlier this month: a girl named Farah, who was less than a year old. Her impoverished family of five had fled the town of Deir Selman to Maliha due to daily shelling.
Farah's doctor, Abu Hussam, works at a field hospital in Maliha. "Her condition kept worsening day after day despite our attempts to treat her with serums. Most families residing in eastern Ghouta suffer from acute malnutrition," he said. "The same goes for mothers. Their malnutrition affects their newborns, who are born weak and small. We had a newborn who only weighed one kilogram. This is common among eastern Ghouta newborns."
Farah's mother cries quietly when asked about her daughter. Death by starvation still threatens the rest of this family and their neighbors.
Abu Hussam said a woman in her 50s had recently died of malnutrition, and that there are over 20 cases each week in eastern Ghouta.
Dr. Abu Nawwaf, director of the NGO the Syria Child Bureau, works in both liberated areas and those under siege. "We are currently working to establish a factory to make baby formula inside Syria. We have activists working to get food aid and needed hygiene kits to the areas that are most in need," he said.
"However, we can't enter the besieged areas. For now, we try to send educational brochures on alternative foods to sustain proper nutrition. We always try to get aid into these areas usually via the Red Cross and Red Crescent, and we always try to negotiate."
Until now, there are no substantiated figures on famine-stricken children due to sieges throughout Syria. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based watchdog, has documented over 12,000 children killed, with 10 due to famine, over the course of the conflict.

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
  • NEW: Speed was a factor, the sheriff's office says
  • Walker was passenger in friend's car; both died
  • Seventh "Fast & Furious" movie due next year
  • Walker also stars in upcoming independent film "Hours"
Santa Clarita, California (CNN) -- Actor Paul Walker, who shot to fame as star of the high-octane street racing franchise "Fast & Furious," died Saturday in a car crash in Southern California. He was 40.
Walker's publicist Ame van Iden confirmed his death, but said she could not elaborate beyond statements posted on Walker's official Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Walker was a passenger in a friend's 2005 Porsche Carrera GT and both were attending a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide, in the community of Valencia in Santa Clarita, about 30 miles north of Hollywood.
The website for the charity said the Saturday event was intended to benefit victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
Speed was a factor in the crash, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office said.
The wreck took place about 3:30 p.m. (6:30 p.m. ET), about 300 yards from the office park where the event was held. The speed limit there is 45 mph.

Deputies arrived at the scene to find a vehicle on fire, the sheriff's department said in a statement.
Once fire crews put the flames out, they found two occupants, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene.
Saturday evening, all that remained was the burnt mangled metal of the red car and a light pole that had been knocked down.
Box office success
Walker's career began on the small screen, first with a commercial for Pampers when he was 2, and then with parts in shows such as "Highway to Heaven" and "Touched By An Angel."
His first few movie roles were as supporting characters in teen flicks, most notably in "Varsity Blues."
His career really took off when he was cast as undercover cop Brian O'Conner infiltrating a street-racing gang in 2001's "The Fast and the Furious."
The box-office success of the surprise summer hit yielded numerous sequels. And along with Vin Diesel, Walker was one of the franchise stalwarts.
At the time of his death, Walker was working on the seventh film of the franchise, due out next year.
On his verified Twitter account, Walker described himself as "outdoorsman, ocean addict, adrenaline junkie ... and I do some acting on the side."
Walker also is the star of "Hours," an independent film scheduled to be released December 13 about a father struggling to keep his newborn infant alive in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
Twitter and other social media exploded with reactions to Walker's death.
"Completely numb and saddened to hear of the tragic death of Paul Walker," wrote one posted "Wow."
Hollywood condolences came from Will Smith, Jack Osbourne, DMX and others.
"No, @RealPaulWalker. No. No. No," tweeted actress Alyssa Milano. Walker guest-appeared with her in the 80s comedy, "Who's The Boss?" "Rest with the angels. You. Sweet boy. #beauty #love #RIP."
CNN's Greg Botelho, David Simpson, Joe Sutton and Jackie Castillo contributed to this report.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A mother on board a plane that crashed in remote southwest Alaska made a frantic phone call for help resuscitating her 5-month-old baby, then left the fatally injured boy to lead searchers hampered by cold and fog to the crash site.
Melanie Coffee, 25, of Mountain Village walked nearly a mile toward lights in the village of Saint Marys to meet rescuers Friday night.
"I believe she's the real hero in this," said Saint Marys Village Police Officer Fred Lamont Jr., one of the dozens from his community and surrounding villages who responded to the crash that killed four and injured six.
The Hageland Aviation Cessna 208 turboprop left Bethel at 5:40 p.m. on a scheduled flight for Mountain Village and eventually Saint Marys.
Saint Marys, like scores of other Alaska villages, is off the state road system. People routinely use small aircraft to reach regional hubs where they can catch another plane to complete trips to Anchorage or other cities.
Megan Peters, a spokeswoman for the Alaska State Troopers, said the airplane would have been flying in freezing rain with a mile of visibility and a 300-foot ceiling. Lamont described conditions as ice fog with moisture that stuck to vehicles.
The airplane never reached Mountain Village. It crashed around 6:30 p.m. four miles from Saint Marys, said Clint Johnson, head of the National Transportation Safety Board in Alaska.
Pilot Terry Hansen, 68, passengers Rose Polty, 57, Richard Polty, 65, and the infant, Wyatt Coffee, died in the crash.
The survivors included Melanie Coffee, Pauline Johnson, 37, Kylan Johnson, 14, Tanya Lawrence, 35, Garrett Moses, 30, and Shannon Lawrence. All were seriously injured and four were in critical condition, Lamont said. All but Hansen and Shannon Lawrence are from Mountain Village, troopers said. Hansen was from Bethel, according to troopers. Information wasn't available about where Lawrence lived.
Lamont, the village police officer, is also trained as a health aide and was working with an ambulance driver Friday. At about 7 p.m., he said, Melanie Coffee called another on-duty health aide to say the airplane had crashed and she needed assistance.
"She was trying to do CPR to her newborn baby," Lamont said. "She called for help."
Lamont and the driver headed out in the ambulance to look for the crash. Other health officials put out the call for responders. Two state troopers assigned to the community joined the effort. People from Mountain Village and Pitka's Point, which are connected to Saint Marys by local roads, helped search by car and snowmobile.
"Whoever had a vehicle was out there looking," Lamont said
Fog hampered the search and responders could not immediately locate the crash site despite speaking to the injured.
"We had no clue," Lamont said.
Coffee, who suffered chest trauma, tried whistling to alert searchers, Lamont said. She considered starting a fire to get their attention but eventually decided to start walking toward village lights. A GCI communications tower with a red strobe led her three-quarters of a mile to the village landfill.
"That's where everyone found her," Lamont said.
She led searchers back to the crash site. It was not accessible by snowmobile. Rescuers put the injured on stretchers and carried them out on foot to the landfill where they could be transported by ambulance to the village and then flown out.
A Coast Guard C-130 could not land because of fog but the injured were transported by a LifeMed Alaska flight and two other aircraft.
NTSB Investigator Clint Johnson said the cause of the crash has not been determined.
"It's very much in the preliminary stages at this point," he said.
Two investigators were on their way to Bethel on Saturday to meet troopers for transportation to the crash site. Reaching the wreckage would depend on weather and safety considerations, Peters said. No one was at the crash site Saturday morning.
"There's no rush to get there," Peters said. "There's no reason to risk anyone's life because no one's life is in jeopardy."
Hageland Aviation is part of the Era Group that includes Era Aviation. Hageland President Jim Hickerson said in a statement that the crash is "an unspeakable tragedy for us."
"Hageland is working to gather information to answer questions and do what we can to ease the suffering of those involved in the accident," he said.

Trillium Lake and Timberline Lodge

Today my family and I drove to Timberline Lodge from Portland and had an afternoon lunch there and then drove down to Trillium Lake and were pleased to find it frozen. Even at Timberline Lodge which is about at tree line with skiers and snowboarders busy there on the ski lifts year around it was only about 38 degrees Fahrenheit and the wind chill factor made me feel almost like I was going to go into Hypothermia just trying to walk up from where my car was parked and into the Hotel and Restaurants there. So, I sort of wished I had brought a wool hat from the car. As I walked into the hotel I noticed I was the only person around without a hat on to keep their heat from going out fast in the wind.

Then at Trillium Lake seeing the lake frozen was pretty magic. The ice was about an inch or more thick most places but we could break pieces off it and throw it across the ice and it sort of sounded like bells and interesting sounds with ice at this thickness. For example, I'm used to ice about 2 to 3 feet thick in January and February in the Mt. Shasta Area at Castle lake in California which is at about 6000 feet. And at this thickness I often cross country ski across the frozen lake at this thickness because it is safe. Also, fishermen also dig holes in the ice to fish for Rainbow trout because the lake is stocked. However, Trillium Lake is likely at about 3 to 4000 feet but much further north at the top of Oregon next to Mt. Hood and near the state of Washington. So, the fact that it was frozen even an inch thick made us happy to see along with the amazing lenticular clouds coming off of Mt. Hood. It made it a very magical day for all of us in the pristine Alpine Wilderness there. And because it was so cold there were very few people there which made it even nicer to be in the wilderness.

For Videos of Nightly News with Brian Williams

http://www.nbcnews.com/id/3032619/#53696345

I was surprised I could still get free full videos of Brian Williams at Nightly News with NBC. Usually, you can watch these within about 24 hours (the full clip usually around 21 minutes long). You will have to listen to likely a 30 second commercial first and then you get the full 21 minutes (at least where I live). Go to the top of the page and click on where it says (Nightly News at the top) this takes you to a page where you can summon most of the news reports back quite a ways. Even though it is the Friday after Thanksgiving I was able to watch last nights news here. My daughter and her boyfriend I bought a 40 inch flatscreen and a Roku to stream netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu plus and everything else you can stream if you pay for an account or others that are sometimes free. But since they don't have cable TV (because they don't choose to watch cable TV) I had to be innovative to watch Nightly News with Brian Williams. I like to watch it because I watched the news with my Dad until he passed away since I was a little kid. It reminds me of him to watch the news. I also go to movies because my mother liked to go to the movies. So, going to the movies reminds me of being with my Mom out watching movies still.

Helicopter crashes into Glasgow pub, multiple casualties - BBC

Reuters

(Reuters) - A helicopter crashed into a pub in Glasgow on Friday, causing multiple injuries, the BBC reported on its website.
BBC News quoted Member of Parliament Jim Murphy as saying: "It's a well established Glasgow pub. It's a horrible, horrible scene, but well done to the folk who were here. Everyone formed a chain of people from inside the pub to outside, and the fire brigade and everyone were here very quickly."
The BBC named the pub as the Clutha Vaults in Stockwell Street.
Murphy, a Labour frontbench MP who was in the area at the time, said members of the public formed a human chain to help get people out of the building.
Describing the aftermath of the incident as a "horrible scene", he said dozens of fire officers as well as police were in the area.
"It seems like a helicopter crashed into the roof of this very busy pub. I was passing and just got out of my car to try to help people."
He added: "What I saw was a pile of people clambering out of the pub, dust everywhere. People were covered in multiple injuries."

2013 BMW G650GS Specifications

For those of you who don't know this about me I have always been very into on road off road motorcycles since I was little. I used to drive  a friend's Vespa down sand dry washes and then my own 2 1/2 horsepower mini-bike (if it was going fast enough) down dry washes too starting when I was 10 or 12 years old. My father put me on a motorcycle at age 2 because I demanded it and I was sold at 2 on the idea of a motorcycle even then. Anything that flew, went fast or glided or was a motorcycle I have always loved. However, I also like staying alive so I'm not into riding on freeways or in heavy traffic on a motorcycle. Because I trust myself in almost any condition on the road or off. But the problem is many people don't see you because they are expecting a car. That is how motorcyclists often wind up dead. So, I avoid people that don't see me and stay alive by riding more remote roads and off road or on dirt roads wherever it is legal to do throughout California and in the future in other states. This spec sheet caught my eye. I presently have a 2009 Kawasaki KLR 650 that I bought new but I'm also looking now at a BMW dualsport as well. It is built for larger taller men like myself. (I'm 6 foot 5). (The car I'm most comfortable in so far is a Mercedes which is great if you are tall too). However, I drive presently a 4wd Tundra which has plenty of legroom and room to stretch out too.

"Frozen"

UPDATED: The pair of films will each rake in more money than any previous holiday title, not accounting for inflation; Spike Lee's "Oldboy" bombing.

Disney's family film Frozen and Lionsgate's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire are making history at the Thanksgiving box office, where they are set to gross as much as $90 million and $100 million, respectively, for the Wednesday-Sunday stretch.
In regards to records, Frozen is easily on course to nab the top Thanksgiving opening of all time, eclipsing the $80.1 million five-day debut of Pixar's Toy Story 2 in 1999. It's also destined to score the top opening for a Disney Animation Studios title, besting the $68.7 million debut of Tangled over Thanksgiving in 2010.
Catching Fire, now in its second weekend, will mark the top-grossing Thanksgiving film of any movie, topping previous record-holder Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone ($82.4 million). It also nabbed the best gross ever for Thanksgiving day -- $14.9 million from 4,163 theaters -- besting the $13.1 million earned by Toy Story 2. Globally, the tentpole has earned north of $423 million.
PHOTOS: Brrrrrrr!: Disney's 'Frozen' and 19 Other Wintry Movies
Frozen, placing No. 2 on Thursday, grossed $11.1 million from 3,742 locations for a two-total of $26.6 million. Family traffic usually dips on Thanksgiving day, then surges on Friday.
Loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy tale The Snow Queen, Frozen -- earning a coveted A+ CinemaScore -- tells the story of a fearless princess (Kristen Bell) who sets off on an epic journey to find her sister, whose icy powers have caused an eternal winter. Last weekend, the 3D pic did big business when it played exclusively at Disney's El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.
After Frozen, the news was mixed for the other new holiday films.
Action-thriller Homefront, starring Jason Statham, grossed roughly $1.4 million from 2,572 theaters on Thursday to place No. 5, bringing its two-day total just shy of $3 million. Distributed by Open Road films, the film may have trouble hitting $10 million by Sunday.
VIDEO: 'Frozen' Trailer: Kristen Bell, Josh Gad Star in Animated Disney Comedy
Homefront, receiving a B CinemaScore, features Statham as a widowed ex-DEA agent who moves to a small town with his daughter, only to have the decision blow up in his face. James Franco and Winona Ryder also star.
Fox Searchlight's African-American holiday musical Black Nativity, targeting faith-based consumers and earning an A- CinemaScore, fared better on Thursday, but is still struggling. The pic, coming in at No. 8, grossed $680,000 from 1,516 theaters for a two-day gross of $1.1 million.
Directed by Kasi Lemmons and based loosely on Langston Hughes' play, Black Nativity's ensemble cast is led by Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson, Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige.
The film, about a streetwise teen from Baltimore who travels to New York to spend the holidays with his estranged family, may only eke out a five-day gross in the $3 million range, far less than hoped for. Black Nativity, earning an A- CinemaScore, is likely being hurt by other African-American films still strong in the marketplace, including The Best Man Holiday.
Spike Lee's Oldboy, opening in 583 theaters Wednesday, is bombing in its debut and may not hit $2 million in the five-day stretch. From a script by Mark Protosevich, the remake of the cult South Korean film stars Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen and Sharlto Copley.
