80 degrees Fahrenheit before Noon Friday today at N.California coast

Now, this is completely nuts to get temperatures this high in January. This might happen normally in Southern California but this is now unheard of in Northern California and will only melt the 20% of normal snowpack we have left in the Sierras this year of the normal we should have. This weather this time of year is only creating an even worse disaster water wise later this year in the spring, summer and fall unless this weather pattern changes. We expect no significant rain until the earliest February according to the weather channel. However, maybe the best thing to do is just to enjoy the warm beautiful Hawaii like weather and go walk along the beach with my wife.

By the way the temperature in S. Lake Tahoe is 47degrees Fahrenheit with full sun with the high expected of 59 degrees. This is more than enough to melt away a lot of the miniscule snow pack today. I hope all the reservoirs close their water gates to keep as much as possible for this summer so people have enough water in their houses to make it through as the 20% of normal snow pack melts today and the rest of this month.
