Visitacion Valley Middle School: Meditation reduces Violence in California Middle School

They have found a way to teach meditation at Visitacion Valley Middle School. They began a 1/2 hour experimental program there daily for all students to reduce arguments and violence by teaching the children meditation. This was reported on NBC Nightly NEWS tonight Tuesday December 30th. It has reduced violence and increased the excellence of scholarship in this school in a noticeable way ever since the meditation program began. At least 1/2 hour a day all students are asked to be quiet, to close their eyes and to meditate. This has markedly reduced fights, arguments and problems between students in the school and helped academic excellence as well.

When I was young my parents taught me what they called contemplation in church which also reminds me of meditation that I also started to do when I was a teenager when it became popular. I met many Transcendental Meditation people in Los Angeles because the Beatles got into it in the late 1960s and it became popular.
Over time, I learned various styles of meditation from Transcendental to Zen Meditation depending upon which philosophy and science it is based upon. You can visualize something or a word or you can meditate on nothingness depending upon the style of the meditation you are studying.
Over time, I found myself meditating with Tibetan Lamas and even traveling to Nepal and India and getting the Kalachakra Tantric initiation with the Dalai Lama and 500,000 people in Bodhgaya in 1985. Over time I have found I can be in a 24 hour state of meditation all the time if I wish. So, I find depending upon what I'm trying to do in my life that hour or day I can pretty much always be in a state of meditation while doing almost anything. It's a knack I developed to be creating positivity in my life 24 hours a day. It also will extend your health and life a lot too.
If I'm injured I visualize Jesus and Golden light into that part of my body and I touch that part of my body sometimes for an hour or more while channeling Christ Healing and light into that injury. This almost always causes healing to take place. By God's Grace.
At one point I tore the ligiments off the back of my right knee at about age 37 while doing a class 4 rock climbing move on a cliff over the ocean. When the ligiments tore I fell into the ocean and almost drowned because I couldn't use my right leg to swim or to walk. So, luckily I didn't drown and made it to shore with two arms and one leg working.
Then when I got home I didn't have 40,000 or more dollars then to get an operation so I simply held the tendons in place further down and they healed in place in a new place on my leg. Years later I showed my injury to a physical therapist and he said that I had a 19th century injury that he was amazed by. Because he said I should have been a cripple. However, I can walk and run fine. However, it does  cause some circulation problems from my knee to my tips of my toes sometimes now that I'm in my late 60s. But, I can still ski, run, walk and swim fine amazingly.

Later I did the same thing with my left leg when I pulled my let hamstring while skiing on ice. I was somehow able to ski out of there on one ski but it took me about 6 months to heal it completely. I had to drag one leg for about 6 months until it completely healed and then in order to straighten out my left food I had to stretch it which was painful by twisting my foot out to the side until I could walk normally again. I was about 40 when I did that. But, by my late 40s my financial luck had completely changed so when I had my heart virus and almost died for about 8 months I was able to retire as well as have insurance to pay for all my treatments by then. So, God has covered me one way or another all my life with healing and help. By God's Grace.

Part of it before was that I was raising three teenagers and then we had a baby too. This is expensive if you haven't done this before so my right calf tear and my hamstring pull I didn't have health insurance so I just prayed to God and Jesus and Healed myself. However, later in my late 40s I was fairly well off with medical insurance and all the good stuff so I have been okay ever since. By God's Grace.
