Traveling

I was set free by my wife after many doctors appointments dealing with recovery from Burst appendix and recovery from a Laparoscopic operation and checking with my cardiologist and Nurse practitioner Aryuvedic Specialist and my general practitioner that I was doing okay on my present carb free diet and still either maintaining my weight loss or increasing my weight loss so I don't get diabetes. So far everything is okay and I was able to move from lifting 30 pounds over my head back up to 40 pounds over my head (barbells) and I want to get back to 50 pounds over my head with several reps every other day so I don't tear down my muscles by doing it every day but instead build up.

So, I set off and found that it was pretty warm and hot and beautiful once I got away from the foggy cloudy Northern Coast of California and went inland 10 or 20 miles the temperatures went from about 57 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast up to 70 then 80 then 90 and finally around Williams it hit about 100 and then 102 degrees by the time I got to Redding.

Then I set out for Mt. Shasta where it was only 86 degrees which is perfect swimming and kayaking weather there in the lakes and rivers. So, when it gets hot each day that's likely where I'll be with my friends. Because it will be too hot to be anyplace else outside there especially Thursday and Friday where it is supposed to be 113 or 114 in Redding and over 100 here in Mt. Shasta which likely will melt a lot of the snow off.

This is what Mt. Shasta looks like a few minutes ago (about 8:45pm) but by Saturday it might look very different with 100 degree temperatures hitting the little City of Mt. Shasta. That likely means the  lower snow levels will be getting temperatures at least into the 70s so a lot of it might melt by the end of this weekend.
