Horrified?

I was out in the wilderness here in Mt. Shasta when I read the previous article "Duet ex Machina" which is a play on words from the movie "EX MACHINA" which is a very powerful movie about artificial intelligence bordering on being a horror movie in regard to this by the way.

But, it addresses an important aspect of technology. Technology is neither a friend nor an enemy inherently. It is what people who design and use technology do with it.

Right now, technology is very very invasive into people's lives. Siri and other such software on phones that you can talk with records everything about you every moment. Then this information is sold to whoever is willing to pay for it worldwide. This is something you need to be aware of.

People who want you to use tax programs online also take all the information and sell it to the highest bidder. People who want you to check your credit score also sell all your information to the highest bidder. There is NOTHING FREE in technology. Everything "FREE" has a catch to it. Most people don't fully realize how much of their lives they give up by using ANY technology worldwide.

Remember, it is a choice. It is always a choice what you choose to do. You are NOT a victim unless you choose to be one.
