To continue what he said on this occasion, he also said, "People who don't believe in an eye for an eye I believe are fools.
This video tape of him talking about this was on the first hour of "Hardball with Chris matthews on Tuesday December 6th 2016.
So, Trump is very about revenge for the slightest slight thing that anyone does.
However, as I think about him being president this might not be an entirely bad thing because people around the world were terrified of the U.S. after World War II for a very long time. It has only been since around 1990 since the end of the Soviet Union that nations have respected the U.S. less.
So, if instead of punishing people in the U.S. he exacts retribution upon slights by other nations this might not be such a bad thing but bring back respect to the U.S. once more depending upon how Trump would do this.
However, if he keeps punishing Democrats for not voting for him I think you are just going to see California, Oregon and Washington secede from the Union and that's all. Other states might follow if he decides to punish them too.
So, if he defends this nation he might bring back respect to the U.S. but if he takes revenge on Democrats all it will do is to end the United States and that's all.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
