In the long run Solar and Wind power will likely mean less people dying from Global Warming

We saw oil prices skyrocket but now they are lower because of war in the Middle East (which is expensive) and big oil nations involved in War like Saudi Arabia against Houthis and Iran in Yemen causes lower oil prices among other things.

But, another thing driving down oil prices is solar energy and Wind power. For example, in California people with enough means are now driving their Priuses and Teslas and other hybrids and electric cars and not buying gas little or at all. Then they drive home to where they have solar or wind power and their ONLY costs for fuel becomes that cost of installing solar or wind power, buying Tesla Batteries or others and recharging their vehicles.

Yes. It is true you don't see this usually unless people's income is over 40,000 to 60,000 dollars a year much but now in California for example over 10% of all new cars are either hybrids or all electrics and this is steadily increasing over time here. This causes lower gas and diesel prices because of all this and helps everyone pay less for each mile driven (in California) and you will see this more and more around the world because Solar is now much less expensive than Gasoline or Diesel more and more places on earth as time goes on.

This then is likely to make saving lives easier as oil prices go down further possibly and it also helps in that oil will not be wasted on fuel but saved for making plastics and other products because if we completely drain all the oil then what do we make things like plastics and tires out of?

So, the ever reducing costs of Solar and Wind will tend to save lives because it will be affordable to use alternative energies when people get caught in Hurricanes, tornadoes and other extreme earthquake or other events around the world.

And people will be less likely to bankrupt themselves just trying to save lives at least in developed countries where people can afford to put solar arrays or wind generators on their roofs or in their yards or near their businesses.
