July 11 (UPI) -- A California police
department shared a video of officers assisting a wildlife officer with
the rescue of a bear cub that had a plastic jug stuck on its head.
The Le Verne Police Department posted a video to Facebook showing the 8:30 a.m. Saturday incident in a residential neighborhood.

The video shows officers helping a California Department of Fish and Wildlife official remove the jug from the baby bear's head.
The baby bear, once freed, runs off into the woods.
