Notes

You will notice as you look at these "White deaths of despair graphs as of 2014 in the U.S. that West Texas and California and most of Utah figure prominently in the deaths of despair between 45 and 54 of all white people who haven't been to college here in the U.S.

Since I live in California the most expensive places to live (so more likely you have to have a college education to own a house) are San Jose(Silicon Valley), San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and surrounding suburbs. So, you aren't seeing the white deaths between 45 and 54 so much these places because poorer whites without a college education can't afford to live here as much.

So, you notice that those areas aren't the places where non-educated white people are dying in droves between 45 and 54.

I'm aware of California more because I have spent most of my life in northern and southern California. However, wherever you are in the U.S. if you can and are so moved I think it is important to blog about this issue, especially if you are white and care about what happens to other white people across the nation. Because not enough people of any race know about this now.

The primary way most white people are dying now is through opioids. What many of them don't realize is that if you take an opioid and drink alcohol with it and go to sleep likely you will die because your brain cannot automatically breathe for you when you are asleep with an opioid-alcohol combination so you die. Opioids are primarily pain killers.
