Corey “I have nothing to hide” Lewandowski and sloppy Stephen Bannon will testify this week before the House Intelligence Committee investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election.
President Trump’s former campaign manager and his former chief strategist will testify voluntarily behind closed doors.
In a Sunday interview on WABC, Lewandowski repeatedly said he had “nothing to hide.”
“I didn't collude or cooperate or coordinate with any Russian, Russian agency, Russian government or anybody else, to try and impact this election,” he said, adding that he had not been contacted by the office of Special Counsel Bob Mueller.
Democrats ask Trump to address Russia head-on in election report
Bannon’s appearance will be the first time he’s testified in connection with Russian meddling in the election. He dramatically fell out of favor with Trump in recent weeks after the publication of “Fire and Fury” by Michael Wolff.

Bannon was quoted in the book as saying that a 2016 meeting at Trump Tower attended by Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Russian nationals was “treasonous.”
Trump, furious at the comments, nicknamed Bannon “Sloppy Steve” and said his former ally had “lost his mind.”
The House Intelligence Committee has been riven with partisan conflict throughout its investigation. Democrats have complained their Republican counterparts are rushing to clear Trump and his associates as quickly as possible.
