Why?
Having come of age in the 1960s (I was 21 in 1969) I especially saw how many really bad decisions that came into people's lives in college when they smoked Marijuana (at least for the next 6 months until the effects wore off in their lives once they stopped).
So, I saw first hand the really terrible decisions people made regarding careers, finances, mates and other really bad decisions that they might not have made if they hadn't been smoking marijuana at the time in college. And now it's about 100 times worse because they have inbred and hybridized marijuana plants to be hundreds of times more powerful so that many strains are now more dangerous than taking LSD. This is something everyone should know.
So, if you voted for marijuana to be legal in your state just know that the marijuana you voted for is NOT what you might have used in college in the 1960s or 1970s. It's not the same AT ALL.
So, what do we have now? We have Trump partly because some voters lost the ability to make good decisions (even if they actually once had that ability). So, now we have a liar for a president that wants to make a border wall a national emergency. If it wasn't so serious I'd be laughing because it is sort of like a comedy team (Only where some people die "like children being dragged from room to room who might never see their parents ever again from Central America).
What has been good about legalizing marijuana?
50,000 people aren't being beheaded, machine gunned and tortured to death on the Mexico border like before by drug cartels and people aren't necessarily being sent away to prison for life on marijuana charges in as many states now too. However, besides that as far as I am concerned it's all bad (regarding legalizing marijuana).
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
