192 is closed in Montecito east of Sycamore Canyon Rd. And most people have evacuated the area because of Thomas fire

Sycamore Canyon Rd. My wife talked to a guard at Birnam Wood there and he said the fire was getting closer but was in the hills. Most of 192 there is likely a fire staging area for engines now trying to keep it out of Montecito proper and up in the hills where there are very few luxury homes.

Here is a good present day fire map location that I was just at for the Thomas fire as it moves into Montecito from Ventura County. It is now in Santa Barbara County too where Montecito is.
