How to keep your home from burning up

You likely would have to build something mostly from cement and metal that was underground to begin with with strong fire doors between underground and above ground. Otherwise, wild fires might burn your house down sometime in the next 20 years or so in California or the western states.

The real problem I see is that as more and more cities burn down like what we have seen in Redding this year, Paradise this year, Santa Rosa Last Year and the Thomas FireDecember 4, 2017 – January 12, 2018

we are seeing that there likely will be many more of these fires caused almost entirely by "THE DROUGHT" of the last 20 years or so between California and the Rocky Mountains and from high winds, especially from Santana Winds in the Fall and Winters blowing out to sea from the deserts and over the mountains.

Because of Global Warming there likely is no end in sight to these types of fires. So, preparing for your cities to burn down and how you are going to survive this might be the single most important thing you do. Having people call you in fire emergencies or having police come to your door to get you to evacuate. Or short of that spotting fires nearby you and getting out all by yourselves so you don't become ashes like in paradise, California of 72 or more people so far.

The 2nd most important thing might be to have Fire insurance paid up when these fires occur so you don't just go bankrupt and homeless like many people have  or will from Paradise already.

Friends of mine in Mt. Shasta are all buying Fire insurance this month because it is available once again by the way. So, you should buy fire insurance if you own a home or buy renter's insurance if you are renting so you can replace everything that gets burned up in a fire.
