First of all, this might be a misnomer in the way I'm defining this. But, from my point of view the PTSD you get from various medical procedures I personally have found a way to deal with this that is useful to me. However, I don't know if this will work for you too.
I use when I get into paranoid or terrified places when I have to take very powerful medications or shift doses where I don't know what the results will be, or have a cardio conversion which is like having someone taser you through your heart and then doctors give you versed to forget about the trauma (even though your cells know what happened and your brain (on a superficial level at least has forgotten what happened).
So, one of my solutions to the natural fight or flight experience that comes from such trauma is to use what is called "5-HTP".
I usually take 1 100 MG tablet or capsule of this neurotransmitter support over the counter medicine that you can usually find at Whole Foods or other health food store around the country. This usually brings me back from the distress or fear or anger places I might get to going through medicine changes or procedure changes to my body which also affects what you might be experiencing at a conscious and subconscious level that you are actually dealing with. There is another product I have used to to help calm myself and bring ones serotonin levels to a better level for calmness and a sense of well being which is called: Pharma Gaba which is a stress relaxer. However, for me personally I find that "5-HTP" which brings up your serotonin levels in your brain is the most effective for me personally.
