December 21st 2012. I have known about this date for years now. I remember when I was on Mt. Shasta in 1987 a lot of people were talking about this date but there wasn't as much research by astronomers and scientists as there has been now worldwide.

According to research already done the most extreme pulls of gravity from the core of the Galaxy and from the alignment of all of the planets and the sun itself will be on December 21st 2012. However, since that is the peak day it is possible that we here on earth will be affected for a couple of years during this time. Some scientists theorize that the pulls could be like an extreme full moon kind of experience and felt by all life on earth in a variety of ways. Therefore, to think that only this date is important is not the only thing going on. Also, for sure the sun will reverse its poles which is does every 11 years during the regular sunspot cycle. Right now its north pole is where our south pole is and its south pole is where our north pole is. Scientists believe this is a more natural place for the sun poles to be for earth because opposites attract. However, in 2012 it will switch back to the north pole being where our earth north pole is and the south pole being where our south pole is and then the poles will repel. I don't understand the affects of all this scientifically to comment further.

It is quite possible that December 21st 2012 will be as relatively harmless as Y2K for those of you who remember the concern about computers worldwide shutting down on New Years Eve 1999 or it could be earthquakes and Plasma from the sun creating electrical blackouts worldwide like never before in history or it could be something in between. Like I have said in other articles it would seem like an opportune time for a 2nd coming. Likely, someone like Jesus or Buddha would be born on or near this date on earth. If this happens I believe this being would be sacred not only on earth but to all civilizations throughout this galaxy.

Also, in case of the plasma cooking all life on earth or earthquakes causing problems or the magnetic north pole becoming magnetic south pole and vice versa, it might be useful if one or more person in each family was intuitive enough to get people underground if there is a plasma stream from the sun to save their lives or to keep them above ground before an earthquake or on high ground if there is a tsunami and to be frank I have no idea what one does if the North magnetic pole becomes the south magnetic pole and vice versa. Hopefully, if some scientist knows would they please inform the rest of us amateurs?

As I was growing up since my relatives have been on the North American Continent since about 1720 I was always taught, "Hope for the best but prepare for the worst." I have found this pioneer survival spirit something worth teaching my children, most of whom are in their thirties except two. Living in this way one tends to survive whatever comes!
