No Wild Trees Within 200 Years. When I was in my twenties I used to tell people because I could sense it psychically that either I or my children would be alive when the last wild tree was cut down so some poor person wouldn't freeze to death.
For those of you who haven't been to third world countries or seen people who literally live on less than a dollar a day for food and everything, you might not be able to imagine someone who desperately is ecological but if there is a choice between they and their children freezing to death then the last bush or tree or even the last animal or bird of a species is fair game. Put yourself in their position. They and their families will die if they don't cut down the last tree to stay warm, if they don't sell that gorilla or tiger as poachers.
It doesn't mean these people aren't ecologists too. It's just they are not willing to die for that last tree or last tiger.
What I'm speaking about here is the problem people don't want to talk about. It is the real reason all the trees and the real reason most of the species of most animals and plants and trees will be extinct within 200 years. At this point I don't see a way to stop it. Even if we get 75% of the population of earth educated with decent jobs and a decent living still there will be the uneducated who must in order to survive cut down those bushes and trees in order not to freeze to death in the wintertime. The first places are already beginning to experience this, Africa and it is also beginning in Asia as well. Soon, Africa, India, Asia will have no more wild trees that don't have 24 hour guards that shoot trespassers. Then it will slowly spread by next century to South America and finally to North America and to Europe. It won't be the top 75% of mankind that kill all the trees. It will be the poorest 10% worldwide that have to choose between freezing to death and killing that last tree. This is reality folks. This is what is coming unless someone figures out a way to stop this. It's very simple. How can this be stopped?
