What to do in Times of Extreme Change

You might not consider what is happening to humans on earth right now as extreme change but I do. I consider after much research that finding out that the whole world is fast running out of oil(at least at the present increasing use of it worldwide), cannot last past 2050 and may run out as soon as 2020 at the present ever increasing consumption models. Global weather change is increasing the frequency of extreme human suffering as in Hurricane Katrina, the Tsunami in 2004 in Indonesia caused by an extremely large earthquake, and now the Cyclone that so far may have killed 100,000 but is now certain to kill many many more in disease from drinking unclean or water contaminated by too many corpses of people and animals. Historically, when someone wanted to poison a water supply they put a carcass of a dead animal or human in it. Imagine thousands of dead carcasses contaminating water supplies of rivers and wells. On top of that imagine 131,000 square miles of flooded previously inhabited land(before the Cyclone).

Here in the US our biggest problems have to do with the increase in gas and diesel prices and the incredible increases in food prices(and the price of pretty much everything) as a direct result.

When there are extreme changes people start reacting. The first normal human reaction is to pull back, to withdraw, to protect oneself and ones family from the harm of this change. That is completely normal. But if one source of livelihood, increase in prices, lack of goods and commodities happen, after a short period we must begin to experiment with new ways to survive and to keep trying new ways to survive until we come up with a way to survive. In doing this, if it is safe then we can tell family and friends about this new way to survive so at least some of us can survive whatever comes. That is what it really means to be human. By sharing our ideas for survival we then actually survive as a human race. So anyone who is not completely overcome with fear about whatever is going on should try to come up with as many ideas as possible to solve these REAL problems. This is not just theoretical anymore. WE ARE IN TIMES OF EXTREME CHANGE GLOBALLY.
