The Man II

The man woke up. He had been dreaming. He dreamed he once was Genghis Khan. He thought it was because he had recently seen a newly made movie that had just come out on DVD about Genghis Khan. He thought about the Tanguts that were completely wiped out by him after they put him in prison.

He thought about the TAngut Lama who had known who he would become and who went to Mongolia to get his wife in return for his kindness toward the Buddhism from Tibet that he practiced. Genghis Khan kept his word.

But the man felt a little frightened because he dreamed that he had been Genghis Khan and that he was the same soul now reincarnated. It didn't mean that he would physically be anything like this again. It just meant he had the same ruthlessness for a good cause. Only this time his ruthlessness was applied in secret through supernatural means. This time his cause was the survival of life upon earth. He was not alone in his quest. Millions of other humans and other beings shared his quest for finding a way for humans to not go extinct here on earth.

The man wanted humans to survive on earth forever, if possible, or barring that until they had colonies well established upon other planets. In this, the man was strong and ruthless like Genghis khan and would do whatever it took to keep the human race alive. keep hope alive!

The man thought about the confusion from interpretations of the Bible that he didn't agree with. He had come to the conclusion that Armageddon is a self fulfilling prophesy from men who have given up on life. And that this idea wasn't from God at all but only a perversion of truth.

And being a self fulfilling prophesy the parts of the human race that didn't believe in armageddon had to work to prevent the extinction of all or it would actually take place.

The man now firmly believed that Armageddon is only for individuals or small areas of earth. Because it should not apply to all. In the end everyone, every group creates their own reality by what they believe. For example, one cannot even use their hands unless they believe they can. So, in a sense the self fulfilling prophesy of armageddon is like handcuffing ones hands and then stepping off a cliff. It is committing suicide when it is not necessary. And is that a fair thing to do to all life when it is only a few who actually believe in this self fulfilling prophesy?

The man looked back upon the Cold War and how people who believed in Armageddon then had almost created the earth into Asteroids then. But hopefully, that was gone now. But, he thought it only takes a few suicidal souls to create an Armageddon that would kill everyone. Permanent extinction.

But somehow the man believed that other civilizations in the past, present and future would find a way even if that happened through time travel to save the present and the future from extinction.

The man believed it with all his heart because he had already seen this happen many times already.
