Amitabha Buddha

Since His Holiness, the Dalai Lama was at San Jose State University in California the morning from 9:30 to 11:30 Am on the 13th of October and  giving an Amitabha Buddha Initiation to all who wished it who could attend and have tickets I felt I should share something about Amitabha Buddha for people in the west, especially who may know nothing about Amitabha Buddha.

It is said that Amitabha Buddhas Heaven or "Pure Land" is the most easily reached from earth of any heaven after someone passes on out of their body here on earth for the last time. His heaven is called "Sukavati" or "The Land of Pure Joy'.  If you are initiated you can use the Tibetan Secret Mantra or you can simply key in the words "Amitabha Buddha" into Google and see several youtube videos that might be helpful to you or read more about Amitabha Buddhas pledge to mankind.

When I first received an Amitabha Buddha Initiation from a Tibetan Lama in the 1980s I was told that it was useful to use this mantra whenever someone or some creature passed on. So, I have done this while visualizing each human or creature going to "Sukavati" when they passed on. This has been so successful that I would say it is one of the most important things I continue to do to this day for all beings.

As an intuitive I have always experienced what souls experience at death. Often if the death is violent like when animals are hit by a car or truck the soul is traumatized and needs help to move on, especially if that beings soul is blown out of the body and has to witness the carnage of its own body. This is true whether human or animal.

So, I make it a point whenever I see any human or creature dead or dying to give this mantra while visualizing the soul going to "Sukavati" because whatever heaven the soul should reside in it will get to from "Sukavati" automatically. The trick is to get to Any heaven when death is violent. So, I would say one of the most important things I do for all beings is to pray for when they pass to go to Sukavati and from there to whatever heaven they belong in. This so incredibly reduces the suffering of all souls in transition that it is  almost unbelievable in how much benefit this creates for all beings. If you are so guided please pray to lessen the suffering of all souls in transition both human and animal so they suffer less in this transition. So the words "Rest in Peace" have real meaning for all beings after transition.
