Asteroid Belt Once Planet like Ours?

When you look at the Asteroid Belt from this point of view it is easy to see how the Asteroid Belt might have once been a planet like ours that was blown up by a thermonuclear war. If that happened likely it was some of our most ancient ancestors that did it.
