The moral of this 2010 Woody Allen Movie is: "People who believe in 'something' tend to do better than those who believe in nothing.
As the movie progressed, I kept thinking, "How can this movie end well?" But the whole point of the story was what I wrote above. You have Anthony Hopkins, "The rich older man who shows us,'There's no fool like an old fool'. There is the older jilted wife who the daughter sends to what is to her an obviously fake psychic but tells her mother otherwise. Hence the title for her mother, "You will meet a Tall Dark Stranger". In some ways it doesn't matter how the movie begins or ends because it is a slice of the lives of people you meet every day. A very mature movie for mature people or just people who take life seriously but who can laugh at themselves while doing it. I liked both the movie and the mature messages within the movie. Very well crafted with excellent actors both serious and comedic.
