home to myths and legends and possibly the last resting place of King

I climbed to the top of the Tor in October 2011 with my family. It is an amazing view from the top of the Tor. Also, I discovered for the first time (since I was also here in 1999 in October) Glastonbury Abbey which is next to a large parking lot in the middle of the town. We went into the Abbey and found the burial place of King Arthur. At the time of King Henry VIII Glastonbury Abbey was the richest Catholic Abbey in all of England.
It was amazing to walk around the ruins of the large Abbey Estate and to see it preserved as a Historical Center there in Glastonbury. I visited the original Gravesite of King Arthur and Guinevere and my family enjoyed all aspects of Glastonbury greatly the day we spent there. So, if you like the story of King Arthur and Guinevere and Merlin you might like visiting here one day.
