A little Knowledge is a dangerous thing. So is a lot. ---Albert Einstein
Another of Einstein's Famous quotes is:
Imagination is more important than knowledge
Another Einstein saying paraphrased, "Knowledge isn't very useful unless one has common sense."
I have personally found all these sayings to be true in my life and in everyone's life I have observed.
Both Life and these types of sayings took me to a place where I realized that knowledge is really not the important thing in life, motivation is. So, unless someone or a group has a good motivation to begin with whatever knowledge the obtain likely will be misused in a variety of ways. And even if they have good motivation if they engage in idiot compassion still their knowledge is likely to be misused by those they share their knowledge with. If, however, a person or group has good motivation, in other words their own enlightenment and the enlightenment of all mankind in as kind a way as possible, then the most efficient amount of good can be done with whatever knowledge that individual or group has.
Of all these sayings my favorite has to be: "Imagination is more important than knowledge". The reason this is true is that knowledge is static. But when imagination is applied to knowledge all sorts of new things begin to happen and civilization moves forward in an exponential way. Knowledge by itself can be very boring. But when imagination is applied to knowledge it is never boring. And if that imagination is compassionate, happiness tends to come to whoever that imagination and knowledge touches.
