Are Religions Obsolete?

The main reason I didn't think about creating another religion myself is that I realized as a young man that religions are obsolete. Religions were valuable when no one had a formal education. However, now a person can study every religion, have their own experiences and no longer be a living victim of any one religion. Religions often have only one piece of the puzzle of life and without a rounded education and world travel it is difficult to get even a partial picture of the real truths of life.

This is not to say that there aren't many many good and well meaning people in churches throughout the world. The problem is that their biases and fears often cause wars and deaths both directly and indirectly.

The way religions affect people worldwide reminds me of a lot of people (thousands) in the dark in a big room like Grand Central Station. All of a sudden someone screams and this sets up a panic where thousands die for no reason. This is sort of how religions bounce off of one another. Deaths and wars caused by religion usually start with child abuse in individuals in that religion. Then as they become adults without psychological therapy those abused children now adults have personality disorders from that abuse which results in extreme fundamentalism in any religion which often results in one or more deaths or war. When you become an adult and study and travel the world and see how all this actually works in real time you become aware of how religions have become obsolete and that all educated people who are brave enough become their own ever evolving religion every moment through their direct experiences with God and Enlightenment. So, rather than one religion you have a person who is educated and their ever evolving covenant with God and the Universe. This is not a static state. This is an ever evolving state of consciousness which includes all mankind healthy enough to have this kind of balanced relationship with God and the Universe.
