Will demonizing Republicans in Congress keep Obama in the White ...
Congress is scheduled to be in session only 52 more days this year. That allows little time to address the debt ceiling again, extend the payroll ...end quote from:http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/06/12/will-demonizing-republicans-in-congress-keep-obama-in-white-house/If you read the quote by clicking on "Will . . ." above the answer is likely yes like it was for President Truman against Dewey.
However, even though it is likely that President Obama will be re-elected it is also likely that the Bush Tax cuts will remain after January so the economy doesn't go off a cliff too. Because the next Congress will likely be a do nothing Congress too for a variety of reasons. So, the only way things likely will be done is by Presidential mandate and by the Fed in order to keep the economy from going off another cliff. I don't think ANYTHING other than a complete majority in both houses of one party or another will change anything. And that is not likely to happen because of how divided our country is right now in partisan bickering. There is no ONE vision for the future that everyone can agree on. It is sort of like driving down a freeway and two people not deciding whether to get off the freeway on an exit or not. The likelihood is hitting the bulkhead between the two the way things are presently going. That isn't what either person wants but that is what partisanship on this level actually creates. NOthing Good.
So, if you have any good ideas be sure to tell others about them before it is too late for our country.
Also, the main reason that Obama likely will be re-elected is fear. When people are afraid like they are now it is more likely that they will vote for someone they know and trust rather than to jump out in space with someone new during bad times. This is what happened when Bush was re-elected in bad times too. People would usually rather vote for the person they know than the person they don't know. It's just human nature when people are scared.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
