This crazy wisdom path is often called a path of "Instant" or "lightning" enlightenment. I suppose it is not for every single nature of people. But, I might say that if someone was exposed to the exact right Crazy Wisdom Master at the perfect moment of their lives that literally everyone on earth would be enlightened if they could be in the right state of consciousness at the right moment in their development and met their perfect Teacher or practitioner of Crazy Wisdom. This would or could enlighten literally anyone in that moment.
But would each person recognize the benefits of their enlightenment after having become enlightened? Now, that is another question entirely.
Enlightenment is sort of like wanting a specific car, say you always dreamed of owning and driving a Ferrari. So, you went out and looked for someone who would give you a Ferrari and you wanted this Ferrari so you could give rides to people who had nothing to lift their spirits. Then that Ferrari might take you and whoever you gave a ride to anywhere and anywhen you wanted both physically and in consciousness.
But, if someone just gave you that Ferrari out of the blue and you didn't know what it was and you couldn't drive and didn't want to learn you might just look at the Ferrari but never use it at all and it would go to waste and turn eventually to rust.
So, unless you can value and want Crazy Wisdom enlightenment it would not be recognized as something completely priceless and precious and useful to all beings. But, for those who understand the value it is precious beyond speaking. It is an infinite series of Zen moments that one often can pass to others to make their lives more a literal heaven on earth.
For example, a Crazy Wisdom Moment that sometimes enlightens people is the experience of impermanence when a lover, wife, husband, parent or friend dies and passes over to the other side.
This often creates Instant or lightning enlightenment in individuals.
However, they often don't realize what has happened to them.
So, unless they can find a way or context to put this enlightenment into they have difficulty with their new experience of reality.
The movie "Hereafter" by Clint Eastwood starring Matt Damon deals with a female reporter almost dying in the 2004 Tsunami wakes up from being unconscious and underwater and has become enlightened by realizing that life isn't what she thought it was. She has to meet Matt Damon who is a psychic in europe at the time to make sense of her life. This, for the woman is an example of Crazy Wisdom enlightenment happening in her life.
The entire meaning of her life has shifted in an entirely new direction. But instant or Lightning enlightenment is sort of like that. Everything completely changes in your life when you become enlightened. So, it is sort of like God explodes your old world for his purposes and then gives you an entirely new world to live in.
