The Presdent of Turkey said recently that there are now 30,000 deaths from Syria's terrorism against it's people. This is something for everyone on earth to think about.
The following is a quote from Wikipedia on the Rwandan massacre in 1994.
Though Syria has only massacred 30,000 of it's own people so far remember the Hutu on Tutsi massacre of 800,000 in Rwanda in 1994.
The real problem here is "and eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" revenge policy for thousands of years in the middle east. If and when the Syrian Government collapses you can expect the majority Sunni to massacre most or all Shias. Right now the Sunnis are being massacred but eventually the Shias will be massacred too. This is why Iran which primarily Shia Muslim is bringing in weapons and Iranian Soldiers in by the planeload over Iraq now into Syria. Since Iraq is allowing this they too are scared of revenge killings for the 30,000 massacred Sunnis in Syria.
Unfortunately this is likely only the beginning of massacres on both sides. We are now into a full blown sectarian war that encompasses the entire middle east. When the prices of oil begin to affect the entire world the world will have no choice but to bring their armies to bear too. Then, God help us all!
