Worrying About Dying

Especially if you are older than 40 or 50 "Worrying about dying" will often kill you. The reason for this is "I have found", panic is how people often die at all points in their lives but much more often after 40 or 50 years of age. So, learning to take what is called "The Warrriors stance" can and will save your life if you can master this stance at any age.

This is the basic psychology: "You realize as an intelligent person that worrying too much will set up a panic response which might be fatal to you or others." So, realizing this what do you do? By having all your ducks in a row, by having medical insurance or a good hospital nearby for emergencies even if you don't have insurance is one way if you know you could have a potentially fatal health episode. 2nd getting regular checkups if you have insurance or can afford it is important too to your longevity. Though we do not live in an ideal world you can increase your chances of survival in any situation by staying calm and focused and one by one setting up all your ducks in a row one by one. If that isn't possible in one way or another be realistic about your situation with yourself so you can psychologically prepare for whatever comes. By being realistic you are more likely to survive whatever comes. Just remember being unprepared only lessens your chance of survival and most of all remember "Panic kills" especially if you are over 40 or 50. But, by being realistic and not afraid to face the truth you have the most chance to survive whatever comes.

So, worrying about dying only "Kills" but preparing for anything and being calm about it only increases your chance of surviving anything.

Then also there is some limit (at this point in time) to how long any of us will live. So, even if we live to 100 or 150 this must be considered as well. Also, what is the quality of life at every point? To make useful decisions at every point in our lives we must be very aware about all the things going on in our bodies and lives. Only then can we make useful decisions regarding whether we choose to live through whatever it is. Also, for me, Praying helps. For me, if I find I have lost hope giving my spirit to God as in "I surrender my spirit to you, God." This sort of last rites often creates a rebirth in consciousness the next morning which allows new directions never thought of before to continue ones life in a good way.
