What happens next in Syria?

With Iran and Russia still propping up Assad (no matter what Russia says) as long as they keep Russian citizens and Russian Soldiers with weapons in Syria it would be very difficult for Europe and the U.S. to get directly (in public) involved without sparking a potential war among nuclear powers.

However, it is unlikely that Sunni Muslims will ever give up at this point. There is really no reason for them to. The anti-Human and anti-Sunni Muslim Assad Government has brutalized, tortured, killed and raped men, women and children and proven to everyone that the Assad government has to go.

So, now it is more about what Russia and Iran do with their soldiers and weapons in Syria because without Russia and Iran Syria would have collapsed a year ago. So, how long can Syria and Assad hold out against the Syria rebels?

Likely as long as Russia and Iran can financially afford to keep sending money, troops, and weapons there.

So, as long as the Russian government is making enough money on oil and Iran is making enough money on oil the war in Syria will continue.

I just hope we aren't looking at a 50 year war or more sort of like the Israeli and Palestinian problem. But, for Sunni Muslims throughout the middle east there is no Syria with Assad that will be tolerated any longer. So, you will probably see Sunni Muslim volunteer soldiers going to Syria to get rid of Assad for years to come if necessary.

I don't think this will ever end until Assad is gone.
