    end quote from Google.
I came from a visit to my heart specialist and needed a way to decompress from what I had learned. So, I turned on Charlie Rose on PBS on TV. I was interested in what these two gentlemen from Radiolab had to say. They were talking about things like how their program through podcasts and through the Internet as well as live on Radio in New York City is heard throughout the earth. One of the two men said he was traveling on a train and trying to get to Haifa, Israel but fell asleep on the train and woke up and looked out the window of the train somewhere in Lebanon by accident. He asked one of the Lebanese paratroopers outside of the train in Lebanon if he knew someone who could give him a ride in his car back to Haifa, Israel and the man said, "You are from Radiolab aren't you?",  because he had recognized his voice. So, this appears to be an important show that plays to a worldwide audience. And of course, if they are on the Charlie Rose show this is true.
There is another interesting thing that I'm learning lately. Many podcasts are also converted into print. This makes it a lot easier for people who don't read English (or any language voice is originally put in), to be able to read it in their native language or whatever language they want to read it in. Since this is becoming more common, people can often use Google Translate to translate literally anything in print from one language to any other from many many languages. Even though the translations being robot translations might be rough it is still usually enough to get the basic meanings of whatever is said.
