The Sequester: Better than Nothing?

This appears to be basically the point of view reached by both parties. It goes something like this: "We hate the sequester but if we do anything else our electorate is going to ride us out of town on a rail while tar and feathering us." Since so few people really understand the sequester, Congress might even get away with not changing it at all. (At least for a few weeks). Because if the screams become loud enough they can always change some things that are publicly unpopular. That doesn't mean it is fair or useful and not stupid. It just means "The squeaky wheel gets the oil". So, the more noise a group makes maybe it's rights will be recognized and actually dealt with. For everyone else it could be very difficult.
