The first time I was exposed to the idea of Gay Marriage was in the movie "Soylent Green" when Charleton Heston and
| were either living together or married because this was a part of the culture in this science fiction movie about a future with overpopulation when "Soylent Green" was actually old people's bodies which was the protein everyone wanted to eat because they weren't told where it actually came from. So, if I compare this idea with my studies of comparative religion, the real reason I believe that homosexuality was forbidden in the Bible was that they needed more people. So, if men got together it wouldn't result in children. So, they sort of made homosexuality illegal in the Bible. However, now on earth we have the opposite problem: there are too many people. So, logically it makes more sense to allow gay marriage because a gay marriage is not going to result in any more children unless that marriage adopts children or brings in a third party of the other sex to create a child as a surrogate parent. So, I think if people look at it as a way to control population, this is a selling point to all mankind. However, then there is the sociological issue of what this change will create both in good and bad ways. I think that the population reduction factor will outweigh all the others in the long run.
