I realized tonight that the essence of avoiding a Panic Attack for some people might be to use a meditation I know of where you search for the source of your thoughts. In your meditation your whole point and focus is NOT anything good or bad that comes into your mind. You simply disregard whatever good, bad or neutral thoughts that come through your mind for a period of time. You simply keep repeating and being focused on "What is the source of my thoughts?" This allows your subconcious to vomit up literally everything there and might even prevent a panic attack.
But, it is important to consider also that if you are in danger physically get out of that danger first, then go to a safe location and then do this. You have to be in a safe place where you can look for the source of your thoughts so your subconscious can vomit up thoughts and feeling bottled in you so it can free your mind and body from things that might create a panic attack.
You will notice you will feel much freer and unburdened after doing this for 1, 20, 30, 50 minutes or 1 hour or longer if you have the time available.
However, what we are doing is freeing the mind so we can function better. We are not just doing this all the time to escape living completely, unless you are funded by being a monk or some way that you are covered financially to survive.
The other interesting thing you might see after doing this is "What are your thoughts?" "What is their location?" You likely cannot answer these questions to your satisfaction. Understanding this teaches you that reality is not what you might think it is. But it opens the door for you to see more clearly everything in the universe.
