Science often wants infinite proof of anything which is admirable so what they come up with isn't going to be attacked by conjecture because it can be repeatedly proven to everyone if they are willing to watch.
However, we don't live in a world like that. Often you have less than 1 second in life to survive something and if you were trying to prove anything like that at the time you would likely be dead.
So, there is this paradox between science and surviving in the moment. Science can be helpful in regard to the basic laws of science that can be repeatedly proven. However, then you have to survive every day driving on the freeway with people who are drunk, drugged, or incompetent as drivers because of the lack of co-ordination, experience or just good reflexes. In all aspects of life we face this. There might be crazy people waiting to mug us or even kill us if we go certain places in our towns or to other countries. So, learning how to gauge all these sorts of things in the short run and in the long run might be much more important to us individually as we move through our lives.
Even with all the science of various types I have studied it isn't very useful unless I actually find real life applications for it in my life. Otherwise, most of it is just theoretical unless I need to apply it for making money or my personal survival in some way.
So, often I find it much more useful to use my instincts in each and every moment and prayer to succeed all the time or most of the time in everything I do. Science is great in theory but unless you actually find a useful way to apply it it is only theoretical. So, finding a way to apply the science you and I learn in a useful way will help us to better and more prosperously survive our lives.
