Gluten Allergic?

It's been 6 months now since I stopped eating all gluten from Wheat, Barley and Oats. So, I have had to eliminate anything with wheat, barley or oats in it basically. The thing that was hardest for me to give up was pizza from a local pizza maker where I have eaten their great pizzas since 1980 whenever I have lived in this area (continuously from 1995 now). The other thing for me was it was hard to give up pancakes (I can still eat buckwheat pancakes because they don't have gluten) and pasta (I can still eat rice and other kinds of pasta. However, you have to cook it slightly differently than wheat pasta or spaghetti or it will fall apart sooner.

The biggest change is a 90% drop in all pain in my body which makes like much more bearable and more like it was when I was in my 20s and 30s.

But, I can safely say I'm still alive today (when I likely wouldn't have been) if I hadn't found out last march through 1000 dollars or more blood tests that I was allergic to gluten. My nurse practitioner Aryuvedic specialist suspected this because of my symptoms and she was right. My daughter also was allergic to gluten and found out 2 years before me. She is 24.

I'm glad to be alive which I might not be now if I hadn't found out. I sort of felt myself falling through space because of health problems which meant I might die this year before this. But, I'm still alive and kicking and now I'm going to be a Grandfather too at 65!
