When I look at what is happening I see two potential outcomes (there could be more outcomes than you or I are presently aware of) because none of us has lived 1 million years or so in the same body to actually have any idea what some of the potential outcomes could be for the present level of carbon dioxide generation over the last several centuries in real time.
However, I think one of two scenarios with what I presently know from studying this in addition to being a natural intuitive.
1. and Ice Age which could be 100 years to 2000 years or longer.
Note: this actually might be the best outcome for us as humans even though it might kill half or more of the present human race. Because the equator areas would not be covered with ice and we might survive this as humans.
2. Global warming slowly increasing.
We have seen 230plus mile per hour wind gusts in the Philippines and it looks like there might be more of these as the sea rises all over the earth. We have also seen 190 mph winds in Washington Illinois in November too which is basically unheard of before this in this time of the year.
slowly increasing heat in land, water and air will inevitably increase the average wind speeds all over earth in a never ending upward spiral along with major climate changes both higher and lower worldwide.
I sort of see all this as sort of a teeter totter with things out of balance in the weather like this. If it slides one way we get an ice age (which might be survivable for humans long term).
On the other hand I see a never ending increase in temperatures until humans either leave the earth, go underground or settle other planets or everything at once. If the temperatures keep going up billions will die at younger and younger ages until we either move away or die as a species here.
So, helping create an ice age might be our best option at present. So, at least some humans can survive here in the future in the equatorial regions of the earth and deep in the ice or under the ice as well in further northern and further southern climates.
What does creating an ice age look like?
What it might look like is creating enough pyroclastic volcanic glass particles in the upper atmosphere so that it keeps less and less sun coming down and hitting the earth in northern climates until snow starts returning there. However, I'm not sure how much time we have left at present to do this before it will be too late.
The other problem with doing this is where you do this food will not be able to grow. So, some parts of earth will have to be sacrificed as growing areas for this to work. However, if we don't create an ice age eventually no one at all will be able to live here on Earth.
