Here is a reprint of: Solar Flares and Heart Problems

I started having problems with my heart again after being exposed to a solar flare while flying back to San Francisco from Maui. I cannot prove to you that this was the cause of my heart problems since then. However, it is known that if you have heart problems to begin with you shouldn't be flying during a solar storm or it could be difficult or even fatal for some people while doing this.

Solar Flares and Heart Problems

I'm still dealing with what happened to me on October 8th flying back from Maui with my family and a friend of my daughter's. Here is what I have learned so far about being exposed while flying to large enough solar flares directed at earth and hitting the Magnetosphere of earth:

Whenever flares or coronal mass ejections are pointed directly at Earth and hit earth, and especially during X-Class or large M-Class Solar Storms directed at us, when they hit the magnetosphere and cause EMP's Electromagnetic pulses, often people (or anything with a heart on earth have problems. These problems can be (but not limited to) heart attacks, heart palpitations or other heart related problems, especially in people with pre-existing conditions.

So, if you know a flare has gone off and is going to hit earth because it blasted in this direction rather than another, then you likely should not be flying while it is hitting earth if you don't want it to affect or harm your heart if you have a pre-existing condition. It might not kill you but you are more likely to have problems while this kind of event is creating Aurora Borealis effects, especially if you are near to them happening (nearer the north pole). But, especially you might not want to be flying in a plane with heart problems while watching an Aurora Borealis live when you are at 20,000 ft. to 40,000 feet in altitude.

I wasn't even watching an Aurora Borealis or even near either pole. I was just flying from Maui to San Francisco when a Solar Flare hit earth. And a much bigger flare hit the 12th to the 14th of October than I was personally hit with. So, if anyone you know had a heart attack or heart problem on the 8th of October or the 12th to the 14th of October this problem may have been related to the solar flares that week too. This is also true of your pets because they have hearts too.

In the past there was less knowledge about this sort of thing but now there is enough research to know when they are going to hit earth.

Here are related websites that might be helpful:
The one called: "Geomagnetic Storms" below might predict when they will hit but I need to do more research. I've had a lot of good experience so far with SpaceWeather.com in general so far. But I'm still doing research as time goes on.

By the way at "real time image gallery" below they have really great images right now of November 20th and 21st in Norway of Auroras.
