My thoughts before going to see "Lucy"

The idea that someone can access 100% of their brain has been pretty interesting throughout the 20th Century. People studied "Eistein's Brain" after he died to better understand this, for example.

However, what they found that his brain was not bigger than everyone else's which surprised a whole lot of people. However, what it had was an unusual number of connections between all parts of his brain. So, he was much more interconnected in the ways his brain was wired than most people tend to be. So, it is the interconnective nature of a brain that is more important than the size of a given brain. And likely, it is what we do with our brain (no matter it's size or interconnectivity) that matters too.

For example, music tends to make a brain more connective (either listening to music or playing music). There is something about music that helps create a better more functional more balanced brain in a child growing up.
