Basically two Types of Countries on earth

Here is the problem: If people don't have something like Unemployment insurance (for when they are unemployed) and something like a Pension (for when they no longer can work at retirement) they are going to try to have as many children as possible to work and to take care of them when they are older than 50 or so years old.

If you look at the Middle East, for example, right now, though it is true that there are sectarian problems going back to the 600s, the basic problem is overpopulation. But, this problem is a problem at least 1/2 of all countries on earth have.

When you don't have a minimal enough education and social welfare programs in place and you don't have enough tillable land eventually you are going to have some or all of the problems being faced in the Middle East right now.

Here is the real cause behind Arab Spring.

1. not enough people were getting educated.
2. religions didn't approve of birth control
3. not enough tillable land to support that many people except in oil rich nations.
4. extremists were caused by all of the above situations
5. Arab Spring was successful in many countries but there was not the infrastructure or trust through a history of organizations that were not corrupt to sustain democracies.
6. So, militias formed like gangs do of young people around the world where only the gang is important to the individuals in the gang which causes governments to topple and fall and warlordism to exist more than strong central governments.
7. This further weakens trust and social structures so it isn't safe for families to live there anymore.


Though we mostly see this kind of thing happening in the Middle East to a lesser  degree this is happening also in places like Hondurus and Guatemala where young people are fleeing to the United States as young as 4 to 6 years old by themselves to stay alive.

So, this dynamic happens anywhere the governments are corrupt and there isn't enough good education or social welfare systems in place for people to survive.

Overpopulation's main cause is a lack of education and social welfare systems in place.

Without a minimum of unemployment insurance and pensions available for retirement people are going to continue to overpopulate the world which causes militias and gangs to form which makes it impossible for families to safely live there which causes those children to be forced into those militias and gangs which causes more corruption and governments to fall around the world.

So, this is a vicious cycle that up to 1/2 of the nations of the world are dealing with right now.

But, without enough education, social welfare systems in place, and governments people can trust, this situation worldwide is only going to get worse and worse which will eventually collapse all governments here on earth.

We either find a way for all of us to survive or none of us are going to survive.

This is a given.

So, the more basic nationalistic way of viewing all this the way most people do isn't going to work because by just rooting for your home team (The U.S. or whatever nation you live in) doesn't solve the basic problems that are causing militias, gangs, and suicide terrorists in the first place.

Without addressing the root problems eventually we all will be dead and all governments will be overthrown.

Please see the logic rather than just being nationalistic.

Nationalistic ideas were useful in other wars. In this present state of things it is not the same as before.

There is no one nation any other nation is actually fighting.

What we are really dealing with is overpopulation and global climate change.

Unless we create solutions to these problems we are only suiciding the whole human race eventually.


One way to look at what Putin, Assad and Iran have done is to stir up the hornet's nest in Syria and Iraq and set sectarianism on fire there. But, this will only depopulate all Shias and some Sunnis and then any that survive of Sunnis and Shias are going to seek revenge in places like Russia and Iran (if there still is an Iran). So, the present path started by Putin, Assad and Iran is one of unending revenge back and forth for centuries to come.

In other words Putin by his actions just began a depopulation scenario KGB style in the middle east.
However, one could also say he has begun a depopulation scenario in Ukraine as well and might also move into other countries as well this depopulation scenario Russian Empire style.

However, like I said even for me writing now in the end it isn't about nationalism really, it is about the ongoing survival of the whole human race without everyone going extinct.
