A US aid worker infested with the deadly ebola crisis is being expected at a hospital in Atlanta in the next few days.
The unnamed patient, believed to be the first ebola sufferer to be treated in the US, will fly in for treatment in the high-security ward at Emory University Hospital over the weekend, which is specially equipped for this type of illness.
Barbara Reynolds of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the agency was working on the transfer of the aid worker with the US State Department.

The head of the World Health Organization and leaders of West African nations affected by the ebola outbreak, which has so far killed 729 people, are expected to announce a joint $100m (£59m) response plan later today.
The president of Sierra Leone declared a public health emergency after 233 people died from the virus, which spreads through human contact with a sufferer’s bodily fluids.
The current ebola epidemic is now the worst of its kind in history.
