Reprint from 2010 of "where did the U.S. go wrong

• Most of the problems of the U.S. come from short sighted thinking politically of this year or this 4 years. You cannot really run a country well like that. The rest of the world that looks at the U.S. regarding short sightedness and sort of shudders when they realize this about us.

• Many people started reading this article lately and when I reread it myself I saw how many things are still appropriate for people to read about, especially with the election coming up.

• However, the problem with any election now is that nothing is going to get done no matter who gets elected Democrat or Republican at this point. Our Democracy has been compromised by Big Business worldwide at this point. 

Whenever you have a do nothing congress you know the government has been compromised. During the Truman Administration the U.S. was compromised by the Military Industrial Complex from World War II. However, it has grown a lot since then. However, if someone wants to invest in the stock market Worldwide the best bet is still the U.S.
