you won't be able to drive up here this year until July 1st I thought I would show you what the top of Everett Memorial Highway looks like right now.
This
is looking from the same place out at Mt. Eddy across the valley.
This
is looking to the left of Mt. Eddy Towards Castle Crags and Castle Lake and towards Redding behind all the mountains in the distance.
Between January and April on a good snow year this location will be under between 10 and 40 feet deep of snow. In the 1980s the average likely would have been 20 feet deep during January to April.
